Romford Cruiserweight Simeon Dennis say’s he is fully prepared to take his boxing career to the “Next Level” next Saturday night, when he makes his competitive debut in the UK’s premier boxing league.
The 27 year-old will follow in the footsteps of older brother Marc who has established himself as one of the competitions most exciting fighters winning both the novice and regional titles on season 5, and the younger of the boxing brothers is confident he’ll also be able to make a big impact in the talent stacked 14st 4lbs division when he laces up the gloves.
Dennis will face off against Harlow fighter Brett Menzies on the undercard of the league’s Who Dares Wins event taking place in the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel in West Sussex, and after watching older brother Marc stop the veteran Menzies in two rounds back in September, the sibling rivalry will be fierce as Dennis attempts to go one better.
Talking ahead of the February 6th showdown Dennis said, “ After seeing Menzies get knocked out by my brother I know he’s not going to be able to handle what I’ve got, but whether I knock him out is another thing”
“ Entering the league is a different level to anything I’ve ever done in the past boxing wise, that’s why I’ve been preparing incredibly hard for the fight to make sure I win”
“ I know Brett will be coming into this fight confident as he got a good win last time out in the league, but even if he’s 100% confident of beating me its never going to happen as I want to make a good start to my league career and that starts with beating him”
Dennis’s debut will take place on Saturday February 6th in the Millennium arena at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel, and for further information on the night CLICK HERE
