Fiech and Johnson Put Friendship On Hold

Queensbury Boxing League - Fiech and Johnson Put Friendship On Hold

On Saturday April 30th friendships will be put aside when Ashley 'Peachy' Fiech and Gareth Johnson step into the ring to face each other in an intriguing clash in the Queensbury Super Middleweight division. Both boxers hail from Woodhatch in Surrey and have known each other for years, but when the pair collide on the 30th its clear both men will be entering the contest to win and will be looking to walk away from the contest with the victory.

Both men have fought in the league before on several occasions, but the impending battle that will be played out in front of a bumper crowd at the Effingham Park Hotel does not stem from any type of grudge, but simply a suggestion amongst the boxers friends that it would be interesting to see the pair fight each other on the show. Both Fiech and Johnson have been in training for the fight for many weeks and when the 30th arrives both men will be well prepared to put on a show.

With the bout promising to deliver a highly entertaining encounter in which the winner will claim the bragging rights of the Woodhatch area, this contest will definitely generate a fantastic atmosphere when the bell sounds on Saturday April 30th.
