Queensbury Boxing League - Hanley Ready To Excite

Cruiserweight Dean Hanley has promised to deliver another exciting performance when the 29 year old makes his second competitive appearance on the 26th of November in the Queensbury Boxing League’s final promotion of the year at the Effingham Park Hotel in Copthorne, West Sussex.

The former kickboxing champion from Morden in Surrey retired from the sport after reigning undefeated for over three years, and after making a successful debut in the league back in June with a unanimous points victory over Hastings Barry Porter, Hanley has now set his sights on emulating his kickboxing achievements in the world of boxing, but first Hanley must overcome the challenge of London’s Steven Adisco if he is to progress. Hanley admits that he is under no illusions that his achievements in Kickboxing means little in the world of boxing, but is prepared to do whatever it takes to realise his ambition of becoming a Queensbury champion.

“I know I’m just starting out in the game and its going to be tough, but I’m willing to push myself to the limits in order for me to get somewhere in this sport.” Said the 29 year old. I know that I’m going to need to change and adapt my fighting style to be successful, but I’m 100% focused on the boxing now and I’m prepared to take the lumps and bumps to get where I want to be”.

Adisco, who will be making his debut in the league against Hanley fights out of the world renowned TKO gym in London’s Canning Town, and Hanley is preparing himself for his toughest fight to date.

“I know Steven trains out of the TKO gym which has the reputation of producing some very good fighters, and I know he’s coming down in weight to face me so I preparing for a tough tough fight. I don’t want to say to much but my coach Scot Dearling at Box London where I’m now based has been killing me in the gym and on the night your going to see something exciting so I hope everyone can make it along to support me on the night as the show is going to be an absolute cracker”
