Undefeated QBL Heavyweight king Bill Harmer will now face Bournemouth's Pat O'Sullivan for the vacant national title this Saturday night, after original opponent Jakub Mucha was forced to withdraw after suffering a shoulder injury in training.
Harmer, who boasts a perfect record since joining the competition has captured both Novice and Regional titles on his rise to the top of the heavyweight division, but the giant champion will face a serious threat to his dreams of capturing the biggest title of his career at the weekend when he meets Dorset banger who jumped at the chance of meeting Harmer.
Talking ahead of the fight after O'Sullivan was confirmed as his opponent Harmer said, "I don't know anything about him so I'm going into this fight blind, so its just a case of seeing what he's got in the first round and working him out from there"
" I've been preparing hard for Mucha who's a big strong fighter, but I know O'Sullivan is smaller so he's going to be fast and move I reckon"
" My preparation for the fight with Mucha has been going well and sparring has been good, so all I can do is see what O'Sullivan is like on the night, but I'm ready to fight whoever is put in front of me"
Harmer’s collision with O'Sullivan will feature on the undercard of the huge night championship boxing taking place this Saturday night at the Millennium arena at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel in West Sussex, and for ticket availability call the box office on 0203 751 8599.
