Queensbury Boxing League - Holloway Ready To Difuse Dynamite

Sam ‘The Hammer” Holloway say’s he’s ready to showcase his boxing skills next month when he locks horns with Northampton’s Danny ‘Dynamite’ Lineham for the vacant Queensbury English Middleweight title in front of the British Eurosport camera's.

The twenty five year old roofer from Ramsgate, who trains out the O’Neills boxing gym in Margate was last in action back in November when he destroyed London’s Joey Pirotta in two brutal rounds of boxing to earn a crack at his second Queensbury title, and with Holloway ready to even the score after Lineham defeated his stable mate Andy Thompson to earn his shot at the belt, the clash looks guaranteed to produce fireworks as two of the divisions hottest properties come to blows.

After already claiming English title honours back in 2012 when Holloway defeated London’s Rossco Parker to snatch the shows Super Middleweight strap, the talented pugilist says he ready to realise his ambition of being Thanet’s first twp weight Queensbury champion and bring the title back to Ramsgate.

“March 16th looks set to be my toughest fight so far in the league, but the better the fighter I face, the better I will perform so I can not wait to get in there now, commented Holloway.

“From my previous performances I seem to have built up the reputation of being a power puncher, but I think I’m a better boxer than people have seen and I’m looking forward to showcasing those skills on the night”

With Holloways opponent Lineham entering the fight with a big reputation after stopping Andy Thompson in devastating fashion back in November, Ramsgate’s Holloway seems unfazed by what will face him in just a few weeks time, and seems ready for whatever happens on the night.

“Everyone seems to be telling me that Danny Lineham is a really good fighter, well I just hope he is that good because everything during my preparations for this fight have gone really well and I’m looking at putting on another winning performance and bringing another title back to the O’Neills gym”

Holloway's clash with Lineham headlines the league's massive televised season opener which includes six other exciting title fights and a stacked undercard featuring some of the league's rising stars. For more information on the full line up click HERE
