The league caught up with all six of the Rise Of The Warriors title fighters to get their last minute thoughts ahead of their showdowns this Saturday night at the 2015 season opener.
DANIEL SPENCER- NATIONAL MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION
"For this training camp I have been really focussing on my fitness by pushing the road work, plus we've also been continuing with the additional strength and conditioning training to make sure I'm stronger and fitter than I've ever been before. I'm under no illusions that this will be a really tough fight against John Hefford, but I'm going to make sure the decision is easy this time for the judges"
JOHN HEFFORD- NATIONAL MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE CHALLENGER
"My training for this fight has gone really well, and I always put the work in as my trainer just won't allow me to get away without doing it. I've been doing a lot more technical stuff this time around working on things that I didn't do in the first fight with Spencer, and if I stick to the game plan I believe i'll win this fight quite comfortably. Spencer is a good fighter and has got a lot of strengths, but I'm confident I'll be walking away with the belt this Saturday night"
BEN DAVIES- REGIONAL MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION
"I'm absolutely buzzing to start the 2015 season, and I'm starting it off with a BIG powerhouse performance on Saturday! Training has gone perfect for the fight with great sparring and a new strength and conditioning coach, and on Saturday night I hope it shows just how hard I have trained for this fight and its going to bring the best out of me! Massive thank you to the whole team coming" #TEAMDAVIES #ANDSTILL
MARK VERITY- REGIONAL MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE CHALLENGER
"My training down at the House Of Pain gym has been fantastic in the run up to this fight, and I've been working on just round after round of sparring to get me in perfect condition for such a big night. I see the fight being a proper battle as we both have a similar fighting styles, so expect a war in that ring"
ANTHONY AYINDE- NOVICE WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION
"For this fight I recently moved my training camp to better myself mentaly and physically, and the training I've been doing in camp has been near impossible and the hardest of my career. I've been in Tenerife sparring with pros from around the world not to mention training alongside the league's most elite fighters and coaches. For this fight I have been working so hard to secure my title, and to do that I had to make some crucial lifestyle sacrifices which will be an absolute game changer for Saturday's performance. Whilst in Tenerife I've been running up Mount Teide one of the worlds tallest volcanos every day, and my new coach Peter Simon has made a lot of style adjustments which I feel has given me a far more professional style, and he's forced me to walk throgh hell and back in my training. Prediction wise I am completely certain that im going to win in absolutely emphatic style and this performance will be remembered in Queensbury history" #HERECOMESTROUBLE
ASHLEY DANSIE- NOVICE WELTERWEIGHT TITLE CHALLENGER
"I can't really tell you too much about training as I don't want to give anything away, but I know this fight with Anthony is going to be a battle and I've been really putting the hard work in with my runs and hill sprints to make sure I'm ready for this fight"
BEN VEZZA- NOVICE LIGHT WELTERWEIGHT TITLE CHALLENGER
"I have trained so hard for this fight and worked with my trainer Jumbo on things that we felt would be to our advantage . I have been pushed to the brink of no return in my cardio work and I can honestly say I could not be in better shape, I respect Andre Grant fully, and I will give my all in my challenge to become a champion in the QBL"
ANDRE GRANT- NOVICE WELTERWEIGHT TITLE CHALLENGER
"Training is always a real tough camp but this time round it has been the toughest camp yet, and I've trained extra hard for this bout like I've never trained before. I've been getting my morning runs in before work and getting some good sparring from some top boys 6 days a week, and I'm feeling ready and confident so I can't wait. This is going to be a fight not be missed, and my game plan me and my trainer have set for this bout leaves me feeling real confident I've got this either by points or stoppage. The belts coming home" #OnlyTheBrave #RiseOfTheWarroris
