Queensbury Boxing League - Sugar Won't Be As Sweet After I Beat Him On Saturday

Baby faced assassin Bradley "The Kid" Spencer fired off a warning to "Sugar" O'Shane Clarke today ahead of Saturday nights big title showdown in Epsom, telling his rival he might not hear the final bell in their clash.

Spencer will face Clarke this weekend for the coveted QBL National light middleweight title on the stacked Reisser Edge Of Glory televised promotion, and after studying Clarke's rise up the league rankings over the last 2 seasons, Spencer believes he has seen plenty of "flaws" in Clarke's game to be able to win the title and firmly establish himself as the divisions number 1.

Talking to QBL TV ahead of the hotly anticipated clash in Surrey challenger Spencer said, " I've been watching Clarke's last couple of fights in the league and I've seen plenty of flaws in his boxing that I'm confident I can exploit on Saturday night"

" Clarke's a classy operator who has great footwork and speed, but there are a number of things he does which I feel I can take advantage of, and if he makes those mistakes on Saturday night then I really do think I'll finish him inside the distance"

Although Spencer's league career has been short with his only appearance ending in a close fought defeat to 3 division British champion Gareth Gardner at the Reisser Quest Knockout Tournament, the 35 fight veteran has claimed several titles outside of the league's ranks over the past couple of seasons, and it is that experience which "The Kid" believes will play a massive part in him becoming champion.

" I've boxed in quite a few champioship fights and won several titles outside of the league, and I really believe this will be a major advantage for me in this fight"

"Clarke's only ever done 3 rounds in the league and this one will be over 5 which is a distance I'm more than comfortable with, so this will be new territory for him"

" The key for me on Saturday night will be my jab and keeping him at range and not letting him have a chance to get in to this fight"

" I don't think this will be a one sided fight and I'm going to have to really be on my game, but as I've said I'm really confident of winning it and thats what I'm going in there to do"

Spencer versus Clarke takes place this Saturday night at the famous Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and for ticket information contact the Box Office on 0203 751 8599
