Queensbury Boxing League - Syrett Ready To Attack On October 29th

New Queensbury Super Middleweight signing Lewis Syrett believes his "attacking style" will definitely suit the all action Queensbury Boxing League format, as he prepares to make his big debut next Saturday night in West Sussex.

Syrett, a former product of the Sevenoaks amateur boxing club will step out under the bright lights for the first time at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel in West Sussex on the undercard on the packed Reisser FACE OFF promotion, and the Kent stylist is confident he has the style to get the crowd going.

After representing his amateur club nearly fifty times during his time in the unpaid ranks, Syrett turned his back on boxing after suffering a catalogue of dubious decisions that left him disillusioned with how many of his amateur contests were being scored, but after watching several boxing friends compete in the Queensbury ranks, Syrett decided to lace the gloves back on and throw his hat into the exciting Super Middleweight mix.

“ I’m really excited about making my debut in Queensbury, and after watching several boxing friends compete on the show I think my all action attacking style will really suit this format, said Syrett.

“ During my time in the amateur ranks I was on the wrong end of lots of really dodgy decisions which was the whole reason I decided to turn my back on it, but this is a new start and its an exciting time”

“ I’m an attacking style fighter who loves to put the pressure on and come forward the whole time, so with the Queensbury fights lasting only 3 two minute rounds, I know I’ve got plenty of energy to go flat out for the whole fight.”

“ I've been on the other side of the ropes and a number of Queensbury events, and seeing that buzz of the shows up close made me want to get there and see what I can do. and with the chance to be shown on a major sports channel like Eurosport, I can’t wait to climb through those ropes and get started next Saturday night”

Syrett’s QBL debut takes place on Saturday October 29th at the millennium arena in the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel in West Sussex on the undercard of the National Middleweight title showdown between champion Joel "Smoke" Wanderema and challenger Kieran "Lights Out" Leinster, and for ticket information contact the box office on 0203 751 8599
